Her students respect her for her straight forward training, and also her ability to keep calmness in her training. She is able to teach with assertiveness, and at the same time be very fair. She is fair with the stock, dogs, and students. One can tell that she loves what she does by just watching her work. There have been many times when a dog will be acting up to his/her handler, but when Lisa walks into the arena, the dogs perk up and do exactly what they are asked to do. The dogs respect her very much, and do what she asks because they want to work for her and please her. She knows, and does her job very well.
